A contemplative gardener-herbalist with an artist’s heart, I retired from teaching horticulture at Cornell University in 2022 to devote time to offering support to others for their bodies, minds and spirits. As a Courage & Renewal facilitator prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal, and an ICF Certified Integral Professional Coach, I’m dedicated to serving you and supporting you in your longing to connect with the meaning, passion and energy that awaits you. Come alive!

Through both coaching and Circle of Trust® retreats and other programs rooted in the Courage & Renewal® approach, I aim to support you, and to strengthen supportive communities of reflection and practice that can help you feel revitalized. Participants leave coaching and retreat experiences with a deepened self-awareness, along with a renewed sense of purpose, trustworthy relationships, and the courage to rise to today’s challenges, making a difference in your life, your home, your community, and your work place.

Gardening, cooking and art-making feed my soul, and I cherish time with my family and friends. I am a visual artist; my paintings and botanical eco-printed scarves reflect my love of the natural world. Meditation, hiking, and cross-country skiing help me to feel renewed and grounded in a complex world.

I live in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State with my husband Scott and a cat named Dottie. Our peaceful back yard garden is a true sanctuary.

I look forward to how our paths will cross!

Marcia’s work makes space for us to become whole, to make more of our whole selves. This is both absolutely necessary and largely unavailable in modern life.
